AFÍN PERFUMES was born with the intention of offering high-quality fragrances inspired by beloved designer scents—without the premium price tag. The project called for the creation of a brand identity from the ground up, one that could channel the values of honesty, passion, innovation, luxury, and playfulness, while resonating with a young, curious, and adventurous audience.
​​​​​​​The challenge was to craft a brand that felt refined without being distant, luxurious without being elitist, and authentic without being rigid. The visual and verbal language needed to strike a delicate balance: bold yet elegant, expressive yet precise, approachable yet aspirational. At the same time, it was essential to build a narrative that would set AFÍN apart in a saturated market.
The solution began with defining the brand’s personality, tone, and voice—laying the foundation for a visual system that expressed the poetic nature of fragrance as a form of self-discovery. The logo, with its fluid and symbolic form, evokes a sense of movement, identity, and sensory connection. A monochrome palette—primarily black and white—was chosen to offer versatility and contrast, allowing the brand to adapt effortlessly across vibrant backgrounds and dynamic compositions. Distinctive typography and a graphic language rooted in emotional storytelling allowed the brand to feel dynamic, expressive, and full of character.
